Sunbury Design Lafayette is an opulent velvet designed to bring luxury and performance together in demanding commercial interiors. Part of the Marquis FR Recycled Collection, Lafayette features a rich 100% Ecovero™ viscose pile, creating a soft, luxurious surface with excellent depth of colour and tactile appeal.
Despite its luxurious appearance, Lafayette is engineered for demanding upholstery applications, achieving 70,000 Martindale rubs and 100,000 Wyzenbeek. This makes it particularly suitable for hospitality, contract and maritime interiors, including hotels, restaurants, lounges and cruise environments.
The fabric is 138 cm wide and has a 35 cm horizontal × 40 cm vertical pattern repeat, providing a substantial decorative scale for upholstered furniture and statement pieces.
Lafayette also offers strong technical credentials, conforming to BS7176 Medium Hazard, IMO Part 8, CAL 117 and NFPA 260. The Marquis collection has been developed with sustainability in mind, incorporating recycled fibres alongside halogen-free FR, PFC-free easy-clean performance, REACH compliance and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 credentials.
